Sometimes, after you have uploaded new pages to your website, you still see the old pages in your browser when you go to your website. This is because Internet Explorer uses a technique called caching to speed up web access, by taking files and pictures from websites you have visited, and storing them in a system folder on your hard drive for reference if you visit the site again later.
The quickest and easiest way to turn off caching is to tell Internet Explorer not to store files. To do this, follow the guide below:
Internet Explorer's menus
Internet Options: Run Internet Explorer, and go to the Toolsmenu, and select Internet Options
General Options: In the box on the screen, click on the Settings button from the Temporary Internet Files section.
Settings: Click in the radio button that is marked Check for newer versions of stored pages: Every visit to the page. This will force Internet Explorer to look at the website every time you look at it, rather than look in its cache for older versions. Click the OK button to go back to the Internet Options
