Exporting and sharing contacts

There are 3 ways you can export/share contacts from the web mail application:

Sending a contact by email
You can send any of your contacts in vCard* format via email to any recipient:

  • Click View Contacts from the Contacts menu.
  • Click on the contact you want to send.
  • Click the Forward Contact button at the bottom of the page.
  • You will be redirected to the message composer, with the contact automatically added as an attachment.

Exporting a contact as vCard*
You can save a copy of a single contact by exporting it as a vCard* formatted file:

  • Click View Contacts from the Contacts menu.
  • Select the contact you want to export by clicking the check box on the left of row.
  • Click the Export Single (.vcf) button at the top of the page.

Exporting multiple contacts as CSV**
You can export multiple contacts by saving them as a CSV** formatted file:

  • Click View Contacts from the Contacts menu.
  • Select the contacts you want to export by clicking the check box on the left of row.
  • Click the Export Multiple (.csv) button at the top of the page.

*vCard is the most commonly used format for sending/receiving contacts. Most email clients will support this format.

**CSV is a file format supported by most spreadsheet applications.
