Introduction

Below is a guide to publishing your website with FrontPage 2003. This tutorial assumes that your site administrator has installed the FrontPage extensions on your webspace.

Please note: In the examples below, you should replace domainname.com with your own domain name

Publishing your site

When you are ready to upload your site, make sure that you have saved it first. Next, go to the . This will start the http publishing sequence

In the part

When you have clicked on okay, FrontPage now attempts to connect to your webspace. When it does so, it needs your username and password before it can upload any files. A new box appears on screen, asking you for these details. Enter your username and password in the fields provided, then press OK

Once it has connected, FrontPage now lists all the files that it thinks need to be uploaded to the webspace. Click on to begin uploading your website to your webspace. This process may take a long time, depending on how large your website actually is, or if there are a lot of files to upload

Once FrontPage has finished uploading your site, you will see the box above. You can then click on the link to see your website live on your webspace
