Cyberattacks\nare becoming increasingly costly to organisations, both in terms of money and\nreputation. Instead, they find themselves in a permanent cycle of reacting\nto new regulations, the latest cyber security news, and potential or actual\nthreats. Here we look at how cyberattacks affect a website’s SEO and why many\ncurrent SEO strategies are reactive rather than proactive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does a\ncyberattack affect SEO?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hacks\nhappen every day and some of them are so subtle that you might not even realise\nyour website has been hacked – at least, not until you suddenly find yourself\nquarantined by Google.
