{"id":158,"date":"2021-03-02T12:57:12","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T12:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.register365.com\/support\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=158"},"modified":"2021-04-20T18:13:29","modified_gmt":"2021-04-20T17:13:29","slug":"register365-mail-server-details","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.register365.com\/support\/articles\/register365-mail-server-details\/","title":{"rendered":"Register365 Mail Server Details"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-info-block\"><p class=\"nco-info-block-content\"><strong>Info:<\/strong> This article refers to services purchased on Register365&#8217;s new hosting cluster, and not the legacy H-Sphere systems.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Incoming mail settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To collect your mail, you will need to enter the following details into your email program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Incoming Mail Server<\/strong>: pop3.reg365.net (or pop3.<em>{your-domain-name}<\/em>&nbsp;once it has resolved correctly) for a POP3 mailbox<\/li><li><strong>Incoming Mail Server<\/strong>: imap.reg365.net for an IMAP enabled mailbox<\/li><li><strong>Username<\/strong>:&nbsp;<em>{your-domain-name}<\/em>&nbsp;for the default mailbox<\/li><li><strong>Username<\/strong>:&nbsp;<em>{your-domain-name}_{username}<\/em>&nbsp;for any additional mailboxes you have set up<\/li><li><strong>Password<\/strong>: the current password for the mailbox you want to connect to<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find a list of available mailboxes in your online Register365 Control Panel, under<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Domain Names &gt; Email &amp; FTP &gt; Users and Email Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>in the&nbsp;<strong>Users and mailboxes<\/strong>&nbsp;section<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outgoing mail settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, your outgoing mail service is provided by your ISP&nbsp;<em>(the company you connect to the internet with)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to use Register365 for your outgoing mail service, for example, if you move around a lot and prefer not to have to change the outgoing mail server depending on which ISP you are connecting through, then you can purchase the Authenticated SMTP service.
