Start by opening Mac Mail then select Mail<\/strong> followed by Preferences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you are on Accounts and you have the correct email account selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now update the Incoming Mail Server<\/strong> and Username<\/strong>, to the new settings provided in the email we sent you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are happy these are correct click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)<\/strong> drop down menu, and select Edit SMTP Server List…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now update the Server Name<\/strong> then select Advanced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the next screen select the Authentication<\/strong> as Password, then enter the User Name<\/strong> and Password<\/strong> as provided in the email we sent you. Once you are happy click OK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will take you back to your Accounts page, now click Advanced<\/strong> and we will check the last few settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure that the Authentication<\/strong> type is set to Password<\/strong>, we recommend using SSL with port 993 for IMAP or port 995 for POP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are happy you have this set correctly click the red button to exit and you will be prompted to Save<\/strong> your settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
