Transfer a domain away from Register365

The process of transferring a domain away from Register365 is dependent on the domain name suffix, so this guide will explain the most common examples.

Transferring a .UK domain away from Register365

Once logged into your Control Panel, click on your domain (if you have more than one), scroll to the bottom of the page and select Domain Transfers.

In the centre of the screen you will now see a number of options, the last of which is entitled Change Nominet Tag. Click on that link to proceed with the transfer out.

You will now be presented with two boxes which you are required to complete before continuing the transfer process. Please enter the reason for transferring your domain away, and your new Registrar’s Nominet/IPS TAG. If you have not yet done so, you will need to obtain this from your new Registrar directly.

Once you have filled this information in and clicked Proceed we will then forward the transfer request on to your new provider, and they must accept it in order for the transfer to complete.

Transferring a .com .net .org .biz .info or .us domain away from Register365

Once logged into your Control Panel, click on your domain (if you have more than one), scroll to the bottom of the page and select Domain Transfers.

In the centre of the screen, you will now see a number of options, the last of which is entitled Transfer domain away. Click on that link to proceed with the transfer out.

Please carefully read the text on this page, paying attention to the fact that there is a €12.49 + VAT administration fee. When you are ready to continue, please enter your email address and click Proceed.

You will now be taken to the payment page to pay the €12.49 + VAT. Once you have done so, you will receive an Authorisation Code to the email address you specified. You must give that code to your new provider in order for them to complete the transfer process.
